FORTIFIED Roof Installer

Allied Xteriors is proud to be a trained FORTIFIED Roof ™ installer.

Our experienced professionals have the knowledge and expertise needed to install and maintain this state-of-the-art system, designed to protect your home from harsh weather conditions such as high winds, hurricanes, hailstorms, severe thunderstorms, and even tornadoes up to EF-2.

What is a FORTIFIED Roof?

FORTIFIED Roof™ is a comprehensive roof system that takes the traditional roofing components—shingles, metal, or tile—and makes them stronger with extra layers of protection. This reinforced system helps keep your home safe from extreme weather events and intense storms. At Allied Xteriors, we use only the highest quality materials for our FORTIFIED Roof™ installations. We are a certified installer of all three components of the FORTIFIED Roof™: shingles, metal, and tile.

Why Choose a FORTIFIED Roof™?

We understand that installing a new roof is an important decision with long-term implications for your home’s value and safety. That’s why we take care to ensure that every installation is done right the first time around: we use high-quality materials; follow stringent quality control standards; hire experienced professionals; utilize advanced tools and techniques; conduct rigorous inspection processes; and offer warranties on both labor and materials.

Standup to Tough Weather

Roof damage is most likely to occur when wind gets underneath the edge of the roof and starts tearing it away from the house. To help protect this vulnerable area, FORTIFIED requires specific materials and installation methods, including a wider drip edge and a fully adhered starter strip that work together to create a stronger system.

An Extra Level of Protection

A sealed roof deck will prevent water damage to your home in the case that wind rips off roofing materials, such as shingles, metal panels or tiles. This is because the wood beneath would be exposed and gaps would allow water to pass through without a sealant. FORTIFIED requires this extra level of protection for roofs during hurricanes.

Attached Better

FORTIFIED requires ring-shank nails be installed in an improved pattern, to keep your roof deck attached to your home better during high winds. In fact, by using ring-shank nails the strength of your roof is nearly doubled against wind force.

Shingles That Outperform

If you live in a hail-prone area, FORTIFIED requires shingles that have been tested by IBHS to show they can withstand hail up to 2 inches in diameter. These shingles outperform typical Class 4 shingles when tested against realistic hailstones and will better protect your home from damage.

Trained FORTIFIED ROOF Installer

We only want to install your FORTIFIED Roof™ once, and we’ll make sure it’s installed correctly the first time.

With experienced professionals who know how to properly maintain and repair this system, you can trust that your home is in good hands. Not only that, but this system is designed using top-of-the-line materials to protect against harsh weather conditions.
